Welcome to callforpaper.org (“Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by SVSS Labs (including owners and affiliates). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the Platform, including our custom submission system for conferences and papers. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Platform.
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. EU/EEA users: Additional GDPR protections apply.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be 18+ and capable of forming a binding contract.
- Accounts: Provide accurate info; keep credentials confidential. You are liable for all activity under your account.
- We may suspend/terminate for violations, without notice or liability.
2. Services and User Content
- Services: Platform for event creation, paper submissions, reviews, and upgrades. We do not guarantee acceptance, publication, or outcomes.
- User Content (e.g., papers, reviews): You retain ownership but grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to host, display, modify, and distribute it (for Platform operations/promotion). Ensure you have rights (no plagiarism/IP infringement).
- Prohibited: Illegal/harmful content, spam, malware, or overloads. We may remove content anytime.
- Submissions: Non-confidential; we are not liable for ideas disclosed.
3. Payments and Fees
See Refund Policy. All fees non-refundable except as stated. You indemnify us for chargebacks/tax disputes.
4. Intellectual Property
Platform content (excluding User Content) is our property (copyrights, trademarks). You may not copy/reverse-engineer without permission.
5. Disclaimers
Services provided “AS IS” without warranties (express/implied), including merchantability, fitness, or uninterrupted access. No guarantees on data accuracy, security (beyond reasonable efforts), or results (e.g., conference success). You use at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (including owners/affiliates) are not liable for any damages (direct, indirect, consequential, lost profits) from use/non-use, data loss, or third-party claims. Liability capped at fees paid in last 12 months. No liability for User Content disputes.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use, User Content, violations, or negligence. We control defense; you cooperate.
8. Termination
We may terminate access anytime for cause (e.g., breach). You may delete your account (data per Privacy Policy). Obligations survive termination.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
Governed by laws of India (or Singapore for data matters). Exclusive jurisdiction: Courts in [Mumbai/Singapore – specify]. Arbitration optional for disputes under $10,000 (via [e.g., SIAC]). No class actions. EU users: GDPR rights unaffected.
10. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These Terms are complete; no oral changes.
- Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect others.
- Force Majeure: No liability for delays beyond control (e.g., outages).
- Updates: We may amend Terms; notice via site/email. Continued use = acceptance.
- Export Controls: Comply with applicable export laws.
