Refund Policy for callforpaper.org

This Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to all paid upgrades, add-ons, and services purchased on callforpaper.org (the “Platform”), operated by SVSS Labs, including its owners, affiliates, and representatives (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “Platform”). By completing any payment, you (“Organizer” or “User”) agree to this Policy. This Policy protects the Platform from unwarranted refund claims while ensuring transparency.
1. Nature of Paid Services
Paid services are one-time or recurring digital purchases that unlock features for a specific event or account, including but not limited to:
- Premium event visibility and promotion.
- Enhanced analytics and reporting tools.
- Email newsletter or notification add-ons.
- Submission system upgrades (e.g., extended storage or custom fields).
Services are delivered instantly upon successful payment via secure gateways (e.g., Stripe or PayPal). We do not guarantee:
- Minimum submissions, views, engagement, or outcomes (e.g., paper acceptances).
- Compatibility with third-party tools or future Platform changes.
You acknowledge that digital services are deemed fully delivered upon activation, per applicable laws (including Singapore's PDPA and EU GDPR for EU users).
2. Strict No-Refund Policy
All payments are final and non-refundable, except as explicitly stated in Section 3. No refunds, cancellations, or partial reimbursements will be issued for:
- Change of mind or dissatisfaction.
- Low engagement, submissions, or visibility.
- Errors in event setup, content, or usage by you.
- Inability to use features due to your technical issues or lack of expertise.
- Event cancellation, postponement, or low attendance by you.
- Unmet expectations on traffic, analytics, or results.
This Policy limits our liability and protects against abuse. Disputes arising from refunds do not affect your obligations under our Terms & Conditions.
3. Limited Exceptions for Refunds
Refunds are issued solely in these verified cases:
- Duplicate Payments: If you accidentally pay twice for the same service (confirmed via our logs), we will refund the duplicate amount (excluding fees). Request within 7 days with Transaction ID, Event ID, and proof.
- Technical Failure: If payment succeeds but the service fails to activate due to our error (not yours), and reported within 48 hours.
Process:

- We verify within 5 business days; if approved, refund via original method in 7–10 business days.
- We reserve the right to deny invalid requests and recover costs for fraudulent claims.
No refunds for partial use, trials, or free features.
4. No Refunds for Add-Ons or Data-Related Services
Add-ons (e.g., newsletters, analytics exports) are non-refundable once queued or accessed, even if unused or underperforming. You are responsible for providing accurate data/content.
5. Taxes and Fees
Taxes (e.g., GST) are charged where applicable. Refunds (if any) exclude processing fees/taxes unless legally required. We are not liable for tax disputes.
6. Disputes and Chargebacks
Unauthorized chargebacks violate this Policy and our Terms. We reserve the right to:
- Contest disputes vigorously.
- Suspend/terminate your account.
- Pursue legal recovery of fees, damages, and costs.
- Report to authorities for fraud.
All decisions are final and at our sole discretion.
