Information Systems applied to various domains (health, agriculture, education, government, etc.);
Data, information, and knowledge management and analysis;
Systems modeling, development, evaluation, and engineering;
Artificial Intelligence;
Computer networks, distributed computing, and communication in intelligent systems;
Social, ethical, legal, and cultural aspects of information technologies;
Digital ecosystems, smart environments, and pervasive computing;
Software engineering: processes, tools, architecture, and systems quality.
Submission Guidelines
Submissions must be original.
Accepted submission languages: Portuguese or English.
Categories and respective page limits (including references):
Full papers: 8 to 10 pages
Extended abstracts: 4 pages
Only PDF submissions in SBC format will be accepted: https://goo.gl/nfe5ps
Submissions must be made exclusively through SBC's JEMS system: https://jems3.sbc.org.br/wsis2025
Registration and Participation
At least one author of each accepted paper must pay the registration fee for the paper to be included in the proceedings.
Authors with more than one accepted paper may pay a single registration plus an “extra publication fee” per additional paper.
The organizers reserve the right not to include in the proceedings any paper that is not presented during the event.
Review Process
A double-blind review process will be used. Therefore, manuscripts must be submitted without author names or affiliations. Manuscripts not complying with this requirement will be rejected. Suggestions for anonymizing submissions:
Remove all author identification. Author name and affiliation fields should be left blank or marked as (omitted for review);
Remove self-citations throughout the text. If necessary, refer to them as (omitted for review);
Avoid excessive citations of your own work. Only cite what is strictly necessary to contextualize the contribution, as if it were written by someone else;
Avoid expressions like “In our previous work […]” followed by a citation of your own paper or group’s work;
Omit the Acknowledgments section, if any. It can be added to the final version if the submission is accepted;

Publication
Accepted papers will be published in SBC Open Lib, SBC’s digital library, under the Proceedings of the Workshop on Information Systems (WSIS) series: https://sol.sbc.org.br/index.php/wsis. All papers will be indexed with DOI.
Awards
At the end of WSIS 2025, the best papers will be announced and awarded with certificates and honorable mentions.
