Following very successful previous editions held in different venues since 2002, the 24th ISPDC conference will be hosted by the INRIA centre at Rennes University in the city of Rennes, France. The ISPDC 2025 conference aims at presenting original and unpublished research that will target state-of-the-art as well as emerging topics pertaining to the field of Parallel and Distributed Computing paradigms and applications. Parallel and Distributed Computing is an important research area today and has a strong contribution to the advancements in science, engineering, and society at large. Its evolution is characterised by the continuous development of new approaches in the modeling, design, analysis, evaluation, and programming of parallel and distributed computing applications and systems.
The goal of the 24rd International Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Computing (ISPDC 2025) is to bring together researchers, engineers, and practitioners for the purpose of sharing their experiences in the development of new algorithms, applications, architectures for parallel and distributed computing, as well as modeling and simulation, visualisation, and data analytics.
We cordially invite you to submit your contribution to the 24th ISPDC conference, considering our mission to bring together researchers, engineers, and practitioners involved in the development of new algorithms and architectures for parallel and distributed computing, as well as visualisation and post-processing. We consider the following area of interests, but not limited to:
- Applications of parallel and distributed systems
- Efficient Support for the Computing Continuum (combining HPC, Cloud and Edge Computing)

PAPER SUBMISSION:
We solicit two types of original research contributions: full papers and short / work in progress papers, which should be indicated in the paper title by [Full] or [Short]. All accepted papers (full and short) will be published in the conference proceedings (IEEE pending application).
Manuscripts must be submitted by the submission deadline; full paper manuscripts may not exceed eight (8) and short paper manuscripts may not exceed five (5) single-spaced double-column pages using 10-point size font on 8.5×11 inch pages (IEEE conference style), including figures, tables, and references. The submitted manuscripts should include author names and affiliations.
Files should be submitted by following the instructions above. All submissions are handled through the EasyChair platform.
Accepted papers will be part of the ISPDC 2025 conference proceedings which will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore (pending application) subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. To be published in the ISPDC 2025 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference.
