Die Konferenz bietet hierbei Forum zum Austausch von Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz.

<br>Die IFToMM (International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine <a href="https://callforpaper.org/categories/science-1" title="Browse Science call for papers" rel="follow" aria-label="View more Science call for papers" class="!text-inherit !font-normal !underline decoration-dotted decoration-slate-400/60 underline-offset-4 cursor-pointer hover:decoration-slate-900 dark:hover:decoration-slate-100 transition-colors">Science</a>,  – gegründet im Jahr 1969 – ist eine der größten internatio-nalen Vereinigungen im Bereich der theoretischen und praktischen Erforschung von Mechanismen und Maschi-nen und deren Anwendung in Industrie und Praxis. Durch die internationale Vernetzung bietet die IFToMM insbe-sondere jungen Forschern und Entwicklern eine ideale Plattform, um mit Kollegen aus aller Welt auf diesem zu-kunftsträchtigen Gebiet zu kooperieren.

<br>Deutschland, Österreich und die Schweiz haben traditionell stets eine aktive Rolle auf allen Ebenen der Forschungsge-biete der IFToMM eingenommen. Maschinenbau, Elektro-technik, Informationstechnik und Mikrotechnik sind auch Kernkompetenzen der Industrie unserer drei Länder. Diese Konferenz dient dazu, diese Aktivitäten für die Gemein-schaft deutschsprachiger Wissenschaftler sichtbarer zu machen und gleichzeitig ein Forum für junge Wissenschaft-ler zu bieten, deren Forschungsvorhaben und Forschungs-hypothesen vorzustellen und in kollegialer Atmosphäre zu diskutieren. Darüber hinaus soll den jungen Wissenschaft-lern (Doktoranden, Postdocs) die Möglichkeit zur besseren Vernetzung und zur Identifikation von Kooperationsprojek-ten und Findung von Partnern im eigenen Sprachraum er-öffnet werden.
