The Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality (SVR) will again be co-located with SIBGRAPI and SBGAMES in October 2026.

We invite all members of the graphics, interaction, and games communities to submit a pitch of their labs, projects, and startups for presentation in the Pitch Your Lab session of SVR.

This year, the PYL session has interesting novelties:
- Joint session with ICAT-EGVE
- Publication of a 4-pages extended abstract in the companion proceedings
- The deadline comes after all main-track notifications

August 30, 2026 — Camera-ready

The session also aims to foster collaboration between researchers and practitioners with similar and/or complementary interests, as well as to stimulate multidisciplinary, creative, and ambitious projects.
It is an opportunity for laboratories and innovative initiatives in AR/VR/MR/XR to publicize their work, history, challenges, installations, and teams.
Startups working in these fields are also warmly invited to participate, offering a unique opportunity to showcase their technological solutions, research-driven innovations, and collaborative potential.
The "Pitch your Lab" session is the primary networking hub for students to discover prospective labs and projects, and for research groups to attract new student talent.
