About the Conference
Queer in AI is organizing a two-day conference in Bremen on August 14 and 15. See here. The workshop is co-located with the IJCAI conference. We are looking forward to your submissions to our workshop. Feel free to submit the work that you have already published or looking forward to publishing. We welcome all relevant submissions, including: science done by queer people, science done about queer people and science done about queer people by queer people.
August 14 is a full day workshop which is open to all, which will feature keynote speakers, participatory research activities, lightning talks and networking events. Talks can be in-person or virtual. August 15 is restricted only for IJCAI participants.
We invite the community to submit proposals for lightning talks. These talks will be approximately 5-10 minutes in length. Using this form, please submit the work that will form the basis of your lightning talk. There is no page limit. If you have accessibility needs or questions about the submission process, please contact the organizers.

- Science done about queer people by queer people
We welcome submissions in a variety of formats:
- Research papers, including those published in the IJCAI-ECAI 2026 main conference proceedings
- Extended abstracts
- Position papers
- Opinion pieces
- Surveys
- Artistic expressions (art, poetry, or other creative work)
