<br>Conference on Next Generation Arithmetic (CoNGA) is the leading conference on emerging <a href="https://callforpaper.org/categories/technologies-1" title="Browse technologies call for papers" rel="follow" aria-label="View more technologies call for papers" class="!text-inherit !font-normal !underline decoration-dotted decoration-slate-400/60 underline-offset-4 cursor-pointer hover:decoration-slate-900 dark:hover:decoration-slate-100 transition-colors">technologies</a> for computer arithmetic. The demands of both AI and HPC have led the community to realize that something better than traditional floating-point arithmetic is needed to reach the speed, accuracy, and energy-efficiency that are needed for today's most challenging workloads. Posit arithmetic is achieving rapid adoption as a non-proprietary format based on the most stringent <a href="https://callforpaper.org/categories/design-1" title="Browse design call for papers" rel="follow" aria-label="View more design call for papers" class="!text-inherit !font-normal !underline decoration-dotted decoration-slate-400/60 underline-offset-4 cursor-pointer hover:decoration-slate-900 dark:hover:decoration-slate-100 transition-colors">design</a> principles. At the same time almost daily we see a multitude of new papers reporting on reduced or mixed precision arithmetic, algorithms and hardware implementations based on an obsolete and provably inferior number encoding standard. CoNGA welcomes papers about any arithmetic format that breaks from the past and shows merit and promise.

<br>Submission and review of papers for CoNGA'26 will be managed via the online conference paper management system, OpenReview. This system gives the author flexibility over the paper submission. Authors can upload their papers and check on the review status of their submissions.
<br>
<br>The corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to the publisher, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.
<br>
<br>Papers should present original research and should provide sufficient background material to make them accessible to the broader community. It should not be submitted in parallel to any other conference or journal. All manuscripts will be reviewed and judged on correctness, originality, technical strength, and significance, <a href="https://callforpaper.org/categories/quality-1" title="Browse quality call for papers" rel="follow" aria-label="View more quality call for papers" class="!text-inherit !font-normal !underline decoration-dotted decoration-slate-400/60 underline-offset-4 cursor-pointer hover:decoration-slate-900 dark:hover:decoration-slate-100 transition-colors">quality</a> of presentation, and interest and relevance to the conference.
