**The 1st Symposium on AI Risks in Education and Safeguards**, **AIRES'2027** will be held on March 22–24, 2027, in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

1. Trust, Assessment, and Academic Integrity
- AI-assisted learning and assessment
- Academic integrity and competency verification

2. Human Agency, Curiosity, and AI Literacy
- AI dependency and cognitive offloading
- Critical AI literacy and human-AI collaboration

3. Fairness, Inclusion, and Educational Justice
- Algorithmic bias and educational equity
- Accessibility and inclusive AI

4. Data Governance and Learning Analytics
- Student data privacy and governance
- Learning analytics and digital sovereignty

5. Governance and Responsible AI
- Institutional AI governance
- Accountability, transparency, and safeguards

**Submission Categories**
